it's welded on. lol yea i get you. They aren't hard to make (with a shop). You will see a lot are homebrew or custom fab for the race teams. DMZ is a good option and then mount as needed.

Hey anybody got pictures of there bumpers after chopping the low hanging part of the frame off? Preferably with the JD lower mount frame also tied in. Gonna chop off the low hanging frame section and build my new bumper while I’m home for a week but won’t have the jd mounts yet. maybe @81Trekker has some past project pictures?

 

I don’t have a jd lower but here’s how I built my bumper after chopping off the dangly bit.

thanks that should help a lot, I’ve been trying to find people who talked about gaining the clearance there but wasn’t finding any luck with pictures.
