Seconding this. I've been nearly bashed senseless taking a fire extinguisher to the head. Not even overhead mounted. It was strapped vertically to the rear cockpit bulkhead in a BE-1900 I was flying when we hit mountain wave turbulence flying into Reno and it broke loose. Very, very not fun.

Side note: head wounds bleed like a MF. Cockpit looked like a horror movie set. :p Stiches, MRI and 12 hours of observation.

This is the second round of pics I've seen from folks strapping them in overhead. Seriously: re-think that. You don't want it anywhere near your noggin.

Yeah only takes a couple of minutes to do. I did my last plug without removing the rim.

I’m a bit of a noob, but a lot of chatter on the wheel thread about FN Wheels and Dustin’s customer service. Well, I just received my glossy metallic gray FN Wheels today! All 3 colors are in as of last week. They apparently go fast. Super happy with Dustin’s customer service, fast shipping, and inspected them all and the lugs I got with them. Everything looks good, waiting to mount them! Replacing my 18’ Sport TRD wheels.

Yes!! Greatest thing I've seen all day!! I got soo much sh*t for this exact thing in 2017!! You get it!!! Only took 4 years but someone else is on my level of blackout / chrome delete OCD. I was taking my visors off to blackout the warning stickers and as I was putting them back on I thought... wait a minute. Not on my watch! Found 4 of the same black screws and today I feel like a proud father. Tip of the cap to you buddy!!

Added some Fox 2.5 DSC Coilovers courtesy of Accutune, along with some Icon RXT leafs. Got just under 3” over stock and can finally handle the weight of the SSO full plate bumper and winch! RTT is next!

Out of curiosity how long ago did you order the fox dsc coilovers? I ordered my lift in early April and still waiting! Being told waiting for dsc coilovers and everything else is in stock.

Had to figure something out, so the pregnant wife could get in the truck. Quick diy step add to the high angle sliders.

Ordered 4/7 and arrived today. Rear shocks are still inbound, about 1-2 weeks behind the coil-overs. The guys at Accutune have been awesome about keeping me updated and putting up with my pestering.

I’ve seen several reports of the aftermarket ones being a little difficult to install, including a guy on a YouTube video. Those racks do look good, though.

Looks extremely dangerous to me with them not being rigid. Be careful.

I think I would just put a step stool in the bed and set it up for her each time she had to get in and out of the truck. You are a lucky man to have a wife that is willing to use those steps.
