I usually play a game of who can drive the fastest! lol I saw a black taco with tinted windows and black rims, he saw me so he stepped on it... Then I caught up to him at the light. We raced through traffic until one of us would dominate the other truck! lol

I always try to strike up conversations with people that have FJ40's or 79-86 mustangs like I have. They are rare around here and most people that have them are true enthusiasts. But to most people a tacoma is simply transportation. There's tons of them out there. Most are bone stock, just like mine. Don't get me wrong I love my truck and If it were modded I would likely talk to strangers with modded trucks too. But most of the people I see with them are just regular folks going about their business.

Give 'em the bird, that'll get their attention. Oh wait, that probably wouldn't work in some areas of Calif. They wouldn't even notice you.

Or just give me the bird if you see me and I'll look for you in the NorCal Spotted thread.:D

I always try to tell people about TW when I see someone with a taco or even a off road yota, but just the other day I had some old guy tell me TTORA was all he needed , fair enough but I think he is missing out

I only use the computer to access this website so I wait for it to come up in conversation and just simply mention "oh, yeah...I've heard of that..."

Only time I told someone about tacoma world was when I was working at the christmas tree farm and a guy came in with his family in a 2nd gen with a total of 6 inches of lift, wheels, and tires. Talked to him for a little after I put his tree in the back of his truck because his daughters and wife were petting my boss' horses and no one else was there. Really nice guy, he said he knew about the site, but I'm not sure if he is a member or not.

I only saw one giy who was maybe remotely interested, and hes on here now, I've seen plenty around, but its mostly old dudes and most don't speak english :/ no one here is just that crazy about their truck, and if they are (like the military) they just goto 4wheel center :( they pay to do lifts on their truck, so i just sport the tw sicker. Let it do the talking :D

Wow! A 100 a day?! I'm lucky to see 2 - 5 a day... Here in Ontario, Canada Tacoma's are a rare sight to behold. Way to many domestics here and when i do see a Taco, they're usually not modded at all.

So i do nothing when i see one....
