I just finished up the trans cooler install. I added the in-line filter that Timmy recommended in his 4runner video. I used his video as a go by for the plumbing.

I just ordered wheelers shackles and received ome shackles. I talked with their customer service and they say they're the same, just with wheelers bushing kit and will work with non ome springs. Anyone with experience?

I forgot to mention something when I posted this the other day about replacing my muffler/tailpipe assembly. If your tailpipe is still original and is being replaced, the last 4 inches or so can be cut off and used as the coupling you need to attach the new muffler to the center section of exhaust pipe. It is over-sized and is just right for joining with 2 1/2" clamps.

I over heated my engine just before Halloween. Crank bolt backed out while on the interstate so I lost all my accessories, ran into a traffic jam caused by an accident and quickly blew the radiator apart. I picked up a JDM engine and have been working on getting it ready to drop into the truck. It's been a slow, fun project. Mainly slow because I work a lot and have 2 kids. My dog also needs a lot of attention. Here's some pics of the progress thus far.
