I have a distribution block which is nice to avoid running multiple lines back to the tank/compressor.

with regards to the air dryer you supposedly need multiple feet (10ft or more) of line to be able to cool the air down enough before it hits the separator. Why most shop setups have just multiple zig zags before it hits the air dryer

    images_6a93a42de201c61ff4e565152840bdd76bcfcfbb.jpg
I had an air dryer ready to go but it didn’t do anything. Lead to me doing constant drains and even using the air pressure to blow out the lines.

regardless will be a very intricate setup. Highly recommended being able to isolate each system to check for leaks. I had a much smaller setup and it was a pain to keep track of. Made it much easier now and even still a rusted air chuck valve stuck open can be the worst….

Went black pipe, separators & desiccant driers myself. Pic’s later, can’t even turn around in there right now. Hand threaded the whole shootin’ match. Was it a PIA: Yes. Does it leak: Hell No Would I do it again?: No damn way without a power threader. :)

Wowzers. Black pipe! What’s the weight on that? Definitely stout. Hell people use their tube bumpers and sliders as tanks too. Pretty neat.

Thanks. Got all my buildin’ materials in here & it’s hard to turn around. :goingcrazy: Better than buyin’ ‘em twice. Wood & materials evaporate around here right now.

    Check build thread!
I think I might get some flac for this, but I don't hate it. It's honestly all the truck 90% of people will ever need, and it doesn't pretend to be macho and offroady. It'll be amazing for buisnesses in the city im sure.

The taco is finally hitting the road this morning and it’s quarantine is over; isolation in the garage for many months was no fun but the undercarriage TLC is mostly done. At least I can drive it now with fender liners and flares back on.
