What is the typical lifespan on these or Phillips high output bulbs?

The Racing Visions? The older +150 = 200hrs, the new +200 = 400hrs. In my use, I got 1 year out of 200hr bulbs. Your mileage may vary depending on your use.

Okay thanks, I'm not sure if its worth it if you have to change them every year or so.

All performance halogen bulbs have reduced lifespan. If you go with the new Racing Vision GT200+200 bulbs with a 400 hour life span, that will get about 2 years. The improved visibility at night is easily worth the inconvenience of changing the bulbs every 2 years IMO.

The bulbs arrived this afternoon via USPS and are, in fact, as advertised. They were packed well, in a sturdy cardboard box, bundled together (as shown), and wrapped in packing paper.

Less than $22 for four German-made Osram Super Bright 100/90w 2900 lumen H4 bulbs, delivered in only four days, seems like a great deal to me...

That’s a smokin deal. I paid $22.62 for a pair off Amazon a month ago.

Installed the Osram 200s yesterday, and my eye-crometer says they're brighter. Can't wait to see the test results

Thanks for the link. I’ve burned though all of the all season bulbs I bought from @crashnburn80 last fall.

Nope. Definitely not OEM. Most likely Chinese knock off crap.

As mentioned those are not OEM. Search by OEM part number, the numbers should be listed in the TSB linked under the 05-11 assemblies in the original post.

    Wow, that was quick!

They kept blistering. I do a lot of driving at night taking my hounds hunting this fall/winter, 2-3 nights a week for 11-12 hrs
