Hey @Up2NoGood, got an off-topic question related to this mod....

Ever thought of integrating the "yellow wire/gray wire mod" into this? Y'know, the mod that lets us Sport plebs w/o ATRAC have ALSD in 4lo(and now 2lo)? Is that something that can be built into this harness? It's been a while since I've looked at the wiring diagram for that mod, but it just occurred to me that it'd be nicer to mod this harness on a bench, instead of having to climb under the dash to mod the factory harness. Been procrastinating it myself cause I wanted to make it a clean removable install. Just a thought, sorry if it's been brought up before :)

there have been a few who have done the yellow wire mod or for the OR models the locker anytime mod in combination with the 2lo module.

I haven’t done it myself but others have with no issues.

I was wondering the same thing. Back at the top of page 12, I looked into the wiring and posted pictures. With the way the wires go, it looks like the two mods should not interfere. Also, on the original forum post (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2lo-kit-for-2nd-gens.554456/page-5), at the bottom of the page, @12valve appears to mention that it does in fact work. Thought I saw more in that thread, but didn't see it on my latest scan through. But I believe it should work. Would be nice to have the auto lsd in the back activate while in 2Low. As well as working in 4low. Tho I suppose the traction setting would be "trac off" depending on your year though since it would register that you are in 4wd, as oppose to "auto LSD" in 2wd

Thanks! I'll double check before installing the module, and mod the 2lo harness as needed to knock both out at the same time, without tapping wires on the factory harness. Two birds with one stone.

And yeah, I'm following the "Trac Off" thing. Annoying how they make it so confusing by reversing the terms between drive modes.

    Hey Guys,

There will be a lot of modules arriving this week coming up. The install is very straightforward but there are also install instructions that can be found at the very bottom of the first post in this thread. It is a PDF file that can be viewed and / or downloaded.
