Back from the dead: Id like to remove the trd portion of the decal and keep the “4x4 sport portion” but it appears it’s all one decal.. total bummer.. too many people have said trd looks like turd to them.

Remove the existing sticker and replace with what you like. https://www.etsy.com/market/trd_decals

If you want to remove the bed side decals, the sooner you do it the better. I removed mine the day after I got my new truck, and they peeled right off. As they age, they harden and "set." Then you have to apply heat and use the other tricks mentioned here.

Ok, well I like something that isnt one letter shy of turd too, is that better? But thank you for the sermon! To each his own, i’m not hating on others choices.

I removed the OEM decals from my magnetic 2021 but replaced them with matte black decals to match the blacked out badging.

Used heat (hair dryer) to remove the first decal and no heat to remove the second, just picked at a corner and peeled it off. There was WAY more adhesive residue left behind using heat and minimal with no heat. I image heat is necessary for decals that have been in place for a long time but for newer decals I'd avoid heat.

Going to be over 110 degrees in PDX tomorrow... thinking it might be a good time to do the peel.

I went ahead and did it. Lol. Just walked out and peeled it off. Now trying to decide if I like it or not. Lol.

I think it looks better with out them. It makes the truck look cleaner IMO. I took mine off 6 months after I got the truck.

Sure will... I took mine off during the summer after the truck sat in the sun for a few hours. They peeled right off and left barely any glue residue.

The good news is they're super easy to put back on If you decide you want them back on.

I have a 2021 Tacoma and it's been outside about 2/3 of it's life. Does anyone think I'll have "shadowing" issues if I pull the stickers off now?

    Edit: Purchased December of '20
