    It's the extra drag from the roof rack boxes; they prevented you from gaining enough momentum. Folding the mirrors wasn't enough. :p

    nope. 100% the american flag on the side that got him stuck.

    i was going to say. if this thread becomes rampant for "buy and sell" wheels @tacoma16 we will need to enforce the same rules as the rest of the forum.
    (how or why Kijiji or FB market is out of their reach, i will never know)

    Not my photo below, but for those of you who have seen or had an AAL with overload left in....this always looks like the outcome, but everyone I see seems okay with it - the bottom of that nut is the only thing making contact with the overload. There's so many reasons why this feels wrong...but for those of you who have done it, has it ever actually caused an issue?

    This has to be why Icon says to remove the overload when instlaling ther AAL.

    Mine is the same. I thought they just added the extra little piece so they could use the came brackets for sections with 2 leaves as they do with 3 leaves.

    Back to the original question. The rivet head won't cause any harm most of the time, because the overload leaf isn't engaged. If you're carrying a load heavy enough to arch down the main leafs and contact the overload leaf, then the rivet head becomes a fulcrum and can cause early failure of the overload leaf or the AAL.

    @Canadian Joe

    That land looked nice, until I looked closer.

    It is 75% wetlands, not really what I want. Never ending complications with building on my land because of that.

    Next!

    With dreams of ARDBEG in my head I got a little bit of work done on the truck this weekend..

    The ditch/deer lights turned out a lot brighter than I thought they would.

    Should have mounted my TEC STICKER higher on bumper:facepalm:
