    I do not do 400 series highways (and mud) but I might make an exception. I was hoping for a Heffner Toyota curb crawl.

    Can always take back roads, with the current things we would not be able to pull mass gathering we would like to have at Heffner.

    after the freak accident today, i don't blame a lot of people not wanting to drive on the 400s...

    The 401 is where they weed out the weak. You don’t drive on the 401 to get somewhere. You do it for the challenge. You do it to test your abilities like some Uchiha clan shit. Rush hour 401 is the breaking point between heaven and earth. Are you going to descend into a Lovecraftian hell or reach Nirvana? You will double the size of your biceps death-gripping your steering wheel. There is no time for rest or pulling off over into an exit. Bodily functions shut down. Cars on the side of the road and crashes closing lanes are a constant reminder that you are driving the razor’s edge. Death is mere seconds away at any given moment. They’re always doing construction but nothing is ever finished. It’s a constant roadblock for the hell of it. This is the Dark Souls 2 of Canadian driving. git good or get out

    They just freak me out, I’ve lived in a rural place for so long so I really try to avoid them anytime I travel. I guess I’m an odd duck that way so it’s just a preference. I went to high school in Woodbridge in the early 1980s but things were a little quieter back then and we cruised on the 400 all the time. I don’t mind the 403 from Woodstock to Hamilton.

    Plus the fact that I am a really shitty driver and I admit it so any traffic sucks in my opinion.

    That’s just crazy you posted that right now @Shveet ...I didn’t see it when I posted my reply… That’s the only 400 serious Highway I like and I used it quite often to visit my sister in Ancaster taking back roads all the way to Embro with just a tiny short run on the 401 through Woodstock
