    I am because I really don't like the way JLee is handling it. He's making it seem like it was "obvious" that it would happen. However- he never said anything about it when he first started selling the grilles. Yes it's a bad ass grille- no question. But it certainly isn't worth the cost of the grille plus another $400+ for a new surround to simply have a bad ass grille for only 2 years. As you mentioned- JLee has done nothing to help. Hasn't offered any fraction of a reimbursement towards a replacement surround or even posted a video- as he said he would- to help people "fix" the crack. If it's truly only 1% of grilles that have had this problem you'd think the guy could fork out a little money towards a replacement surround since it was "obvious" that metal doesn't shrink and expand like plastic in extreme weather. If it wasn't a manufacturing issue then why has he made minor changes to the production of the grille since then. Im sorry- but he's not taking responsibility.

    Good lawd man truck looks so good!
    Any tips to prevent bezel crack? I left the bolts snug so they can still turn easily but no movement in the grill insert itself!

    kinda interesting seeing these cracked surrounds. when i installed mine back in sept-2016 just before our normal nuts winter (we usually get into -20F temps at least once a winter and i had the grille installed for a 1 and 1/2 winters up there, the cold never seemed to affect it or cracked in the time i had the tacoma).

    Same! Washington State Weather.
    I was one of the first 50 to buy back when Jerry showed us the first prototype. No cracks! Only concern I've had is with the powder coat flaking off back plate and slight rust around screws (due to early buy before rubber grommets), but when I finally get a bumper, I plan to have it re-powdered anyway! @JLee and the crew at B.A.M.F. produce and sell quality products! 4yr + satisfied customer.
