Does anyone have any reccomendations on a tool box for a double cab short bed (preferably slim)? I Just went to three auto places and they only have fittings for a long bed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like this company makes what i'm looking for. What are yall's preferred method of rigging? I hear a lot about J hooks but I also hear you can horizantally drill holes in the box and then replace one of the rail screws with a longer one, and thus connecting the box to an already existing hole on the rail.

i just got a low profile and slim box last week and i love it. it was from autoanything. here's the link....http://www.autoanything.com/truck-toolboxes/65A2742A0A0.aspx. look to get the midsized truck one if u want the brite...they dont sell the midsized in black, so i got the downsized one in black for me. only difference was 2" on each side to hang on the bed rails more.

this is how much room you will have left if you put a tool box on a short bed....

Hell of a thread bump, but i have right at 4' of my 5' left. About the same as if you put a standard 20" wide box in a long bed

When i look inside MOST of these boxes these all say made by "Better Built".. If that is the case why do most company's charge higher than others!

I just sold this one for $125 It came on the truck and i bought an Undercover...nice toolbox though UWS all aluminum. Deep b ut still had about 6" of free space under it.

I figured with the double cab I had plenty of lockable interior space for a box of stuff and a lot more under the Tonneau.
