I'm ¾ Milwaukee and the rest is Makita. I wish I had started with Makita. Love their tools and they have the best battery system when it comes to one hand operation. So smooth. Milwaukee as soon as you get dust into the two button release, it becomes a pain.

B1906 open in p/t squib (@seat side circut) that is the code that my truck has now. Has anyone experienced this? Any Google searches give vague results... just looking for a starting point

The 490 is a beast And gets the job done when it is required.

The only downside is hanging onto it for any length of time when you’re an old shit like me.

At least it has a compression reduction button to get it started.

I'll ask my wife when she gets up, she repairs these all the time and is familiar with codes. But it sounds to me like your right side seat side air bag squib (secondary connector lock) is not engaged (locked). This will cause poor connection which ends up as a code.
    is your airbag light on?

Edit: my google search says the same thing I wrote, except it was specific to right side.

Yes the light came on and stays on. I will pull it apart and check connections. Will the light reset or is that a dealer thing?

Used one to finish off the old Willow that fell over in our back yard.
Not sure if it was that big...but.it was the biggest one the rental place had.
Ever seen a tree stand back up after its fallen over? Wish I still had the pics

"P/T" is the seatbelt pretensioner, which does interface with the airbag system. Googling shows the code indicates an open-circuit condition between the pretensioner squib (which is in the access door) and the airbag ECU.

Did you ever do the seatbelt pretensioner "loose screws" recall? It's possible something chafed or loosened after the rework.

So my 1st WD merch purchase showed up short of 2 of the items I ordered.

    1.) Hat
    2.) Shirt

So I contacted support at bunkerbranding and got them to send out my items. They did. They sat in a USPS distribution center for 21 days. So I contacted bunkerbranding support again. They sent out another shipment, as they said. 'Sometimes that happens'

    Today both showed up! :cookiemonster:

I never had the recall done , but previous owner may have. But I appreciate the leg work you have done. It gives ma a jumping off point. Wiring is my nemesis lol

I will be in Collingwood over the weekend if any of you would like some FREE pod lights - new, never used and in a box with hardware.

They have been sitting on a shelf for like 4 months... please take them from me (no they are not Rigid or PIAA, they are no name, I just don't want to throw them out).

cool things you can do with them:

-Add them to your truck for overland points

-Donate them to charity for a tax deduction

-Give them to your friend with a 2001 Jeep TJ (it will be running soon, for sure)

-Make a party strobe light and get drunk

-Attach them to a 12ft aluminum boat for spear fishing at night

Edit: I went to the jeep website for the first time ever....people actually pay this????

People are paying $45-50k USD for tacos right now. Most of the people buying the jeeps and broncos won't even know what offroading is

    holy frick...

    seems the Jeep community is made of 2 groups of people;
    1. people have deep and open wallet to buy new jeeps because they want in on the Jeep community.
    2. the other side of the community that build old junkers to rock crawl for $200

no kidding, and here i was stressed about how much i paid for mine
    :annoyed:
