2.7 supercharger

Been thinking of supercharging my 2.7 regular cab. What is everyone running as far as a supercharger goes. I have heard urd is a good one but it shows out of stock on their website. Not looking to turbo it. Just wanting some feedback on what supercharger people like.

URD has a problem with the rotrex supercharger burning out at 12000 miles. No thanks!

 

What is that?

 

Im running the URD kit, but thats about the only bolt on option right now till that vendor above releases theirs. I am very happy with my rotrex, but i have read things about them failing too, so i change the fluid way more often than they suggest. I think thats part of why you hear about them failing prematurely.

If you are planning on boosting your 2.7, i would highly recommend upgrading to ARP head studs before you add the blower. I went through two head gaskets in 10k miles using the stock head bolts, and after fighting that i changed it out and went to ARP head studs and its been smooth sailing since.

Also, plan on upgrading your clutch to something with more holding capacity, the stock one is not boost freindly
