Yeah it's super neat! I think that it's autodesk's way of luring people into a software. After all, when you take the time to learn a software, most of the time it's not worth re-learning a different software.

So given that my icon expansion leaf pack didn't give me any lift and they suggest not running the overload (but say that you can if you want more lift) is there any difference between a 1" block vs the overload? And will both harshen the ride? At present I have roughly 1/4" more rake in the rear but with any weight that'll go down significantly.

When I was originally going the AAL route, I thought about this a lot...I didn't see anyone mention it before so this is what was just in my head haha.

Once you've made contact with overload, it doesn't matter whether you have blocks or not the ride will still be harsher.

A reason to maybe go block over overload is so that the clip rivets on the AAL don't rub with the overload. You can decide if that's a concern or not. The block will give you the height, but also the free space for the leaf to not rub.

Icon AAL + overload = a bit extra height, "overload protection" when hauling but a harsh ride at that point.

Icon AAL + block = extra height for sure, harsher ride as the leaf flexes, but you also don't grind that rivet, doesn't offer any hauling benefit

As you already know, I went full icon leaf pack due to the shitty state of my oem leaf springs....the AAL wouldn't have yielded much I think

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
I have 2" blocks in the back of my '19 because I wasn't originally planning on off-roading this truck. Didn't notice any real difference in harshness, but then again my '09 was like riding a go-kart.....
