I did changed it to vertex shocks. Shocks don't feel bad or shot. Just a metal on metal contact I got freedom off-road uca

Loose alignment cam bolts can give you a big clunk, sometimes alignment guys leave them too loose if you had an alignment.

Did you get a spacer for the sway bar? Stock sway position can cause the endlinks to hit the front shocks/coilovers.

Have you taken off your wheel and given it a visual inspection?

Only thing I can think of that may cause this is the sway bar bashing into your springs. I'd remove it or attach a go pro to your wheel well and see if that's true. Removing swaybar should take 15-30 minutes.

Mine is real close to touching. I got away without the sway bar drop kit, but just barely.

I put a blob of red grease on mine where it was real close, and went out and drove it to see if it would transfer to the spring or seat, but it did not.

I have OME front springs that are slightly stiffer than stock and I have 5100s on the lowest clip setting. It’s only about 2” lift.

EDit….I just noticed that the OP has a GEN 3.

Did they change much in the front suspension from the gen two?

I was getting a similar clunk from rock sliders hitting pinch weld.

Don't recall it being a huge clunk, but also check the torque on your sway bar link bolts. Only reason I say is because I had that on my gen1. It would drive me nuts and took way to long to isolate it. I had it pretty tight, but was just loose enough that when it popped when hitting a bump, I was getting a nice clunk out of it. You wouldn't think that such a small amount of movement would create such a fuss, but it did.

happened to me! and that shit became a nightmare for me, but that's another story. big clunk starting from a stop or weight shifting to the opposite side. LCA cam bolts in my case.

BEFORE you do anything else re torque the following to factory specs with the wheel OFF and truck on a lift:

    All 3 top hat bolts
    Lower shock mount bolt
    Upper control arm bolt
Sway bar end link where it connects to spindle (high probability this is your clunk as it sits in a taper)
Spindle nut (also high probability as it too sits in a taper)
