What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Would be awesome if Toyota made a single cab compact pick up with 4WD on 15" wheels today.

Well I can't take that name because I have also owned around 15 Full sized Ford trucks. I think my F150 days are behind me now since my last 3 were Tacomas.

Some have taken a 2nd gen regular cab 4x4 salvage and adapted a 3rd gen body to fit it. I have seen 3 on TW. To me they were some of the best looking regular cabs I have ever seen. I agree that if Toyota brought back the mini truck they would sell very well. I have always been partial to access cabs. Don't need a daily back seat but does come in handy when needed.

think I saw that boat listed for sale the other day, needed a motor and interior redone, It looked like it would be a pretty cool boat

 

Depends on the day haha. Pretty much it's been a steady rotation of gummy bears, pistachios, or peanut M&Ms.

 

How much solar are you running? Is it just independent from your main battery or do you have it connected to also charge off the alternator?

 

Fixed the field monitor. One of the resistors had blown so soldered in 2 1w and its back to new.

 

Fuel can 2.5 gallon

 

Drove it to the bank today. Upon leaving, my truck got a compliment from a guy in a Tundra TRD OR.
We were talking about my lift and the Total Chaos arms I have. He's still has stock upper arms but has a small lift.

Got a deal on a Rockpals 120w folding panel (5AMPS in full sun), so running that but the CTEK is connected to starter battery (8AWG) so it charges @ 20 amps when truck is running. Or I could do solar and alternator at the same time.

Loving these new AlphaRex headlights! I also added the new Morimoto XB sequential led side mirror lights.

 

Went to poker night with the guys.. currently sitting in the truck, eating a McDouble, and drinking the best one they make. Didn’t wanna wake up the wife. Lol

Not driving! Parked in the driveway, I learned my lesson the hard way when I was 20.

EDIT: I do however admit that I like to gamble. Just not DUI type of money gamble. Lol

want to take off my passenger side fender but can’t seem to find much info on it
I’m sure it’s simple but I really hate messing things up
Trying to take the fender off so I can install a CB antenna in the stock location
Any help ??

 

Anyone have Allpro Standard leaf packs? Curious how much lift they provide on a DCSB with a cab high cap on the bed?
