    I'm in the same boat as you....been looking at threads on here to figure it out. Looks like it might be as simple as cutting the white/green wire up under the dash. Not exactly sure where that is located yet as I just started looking at this option.

    I disabled my DRLs and bought and installed the upgrade. Actually met with the guy that builds and sells the harnesses. I tested the voltage at the headlight connector to confirm what type of switching.

    Yep, it's pretty straight forward. I was stoked to have my DRLs disabled and that's the easiest part. I'm not against DRLs at all. I just don't like how Toyota did it on our Tacomas.

    I’ll chime in. I think I documented my trials and tribulations on this post or the other one. I have an 03 DC with DRLs and I snipped the wire, but some electrical tape on it and it’s been trouble free. If you read through my posts, it will document which harness I ended up using. Hope this helps.

    Never cut what you can untie. Yes the green/white wire is the correct wire on the DRL module but you can unplug it and push out the wire from the other side. If for some reason you want to go back to stock with DRLs it's just plug and play. So now I need to get this lighting upgrade but as others have said the bulbs are out. Just added a lite bar so this will be great.

    It's also pretty easy to make one yourself. Good bosch relays and some 12 awg wire. I've also bought a $30 harness from lowrange and it never failed me.
