I didnt need techstream and most posts I've read others havent needed it either. I didnt think mine was working because the LED on the GBS doesnt come on when you already have the alarm system installed, and have the other alarm blinking light on the center dash. I also didnt realize the sensitivity was set to 0 out of the box and wouldnt pick up the taps on the glass. I cranked it all the way up and works with a light tap. Just wish it was even more sensitive and went off when you pull on handles and bump the car. But it is a glass break sensor so not designed to pick that up.

Depends on your philosophy. Price it to move or price it to get maximum dollar? I would search the other listings and see what people listed them for. Have to take into account region and if you are willing to package up and ship or local pickup/delivery only. Lots of factors at play.

Personally I typically price stuff to move quickly.

The last 2 I've seen for sale on here recently were listed in the $150-$200 range plus shipping. When I checked Ebay, they were listed closer to $300-$350.

Did you have to add a harness or anything to make this work ?

The toyota OEM kit comes with the harness, the module, and the sensor.

Edit: Nothing extra needed to install. Someone posted the install instructions above. It says to disconnect the hood latch from the dash panel but that's not necessary, and more a pain in the ass to reconnect than to work around it. And always disconnect the negative from the battery before unplugging any harnesses in the truck.

An easy way to test if you have an alarm and if it's working is to sit in the truck and lock the doors with the key fob. Wait 30 secs or until the light on the center dash goes from solid to blinking and then manually flipping the door lock above the door handle. If the alarm goes off then you have an alarm and it's set up.
That's the main reason I added the GBS because it seems as tho the alarm only goes off if the doors are opened manually or the truck is started with it set. I've read stories of smash and grabs without opening the doors and the alarm never goes off.
Sorry I forgot about the other question on part number. This one here PT398-35160. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is. Manual Transmission vs automatic maybe? Or 2nd gen vs 3rd gen?
Here is another post about the GBS

your seat covers look nice! i have the exact same color seat covers and installed them without any unbolting of the seats, although i did get a few scratches in my hands  the blue install tool that came with the seat covers was a huge help in getting the seat cover straps from one side of the seats to the other...

Finally got around to installing the Greenlane Offroad bed stiffeners. They look pretty nice and work with the OEM bedmat which is a nice bonus. There are others that maybe go a bit further up, or are completely hidden like the 4WP bracket, but this will probably serve for the life of the truck.

While kicking around back there, it seemed like a good time to also hook up the License Plate DIR harness.

Also finally installed the Redline Tuning Hood QuickLIFT Plus Max Lift Edition.

For the rivets I originally bought the hand squeeze riveter but in every video it looked like a carpal tunnel inducing struggle, so I went on Amazon to buy a riveter gadget that hooks up to any drill via a 1/4" bit. Connected to the drill it was a total of 17" which was way too long to be practical under to hood, so I used a 1/4" socket on a ratchet to turn it and everything went smooth as silk --effortless riveting.

Also workshopping possible vinyl wrap ideas and most recently came across this truck in a thread which inspired a couple mockups.
