I got @MESO replacement switch panel for that spot. Plan on putting a double USB plug in there and getting rid of the cigarette lighters home also.

FBDF6299-64A9-4F35-A6DF-E1CD5C0F53A2.jpg @Unchained 5150 i can’t tell much from pic but just wondering if it’s the same size as the new switches that Toyota uses on the newer Camrys and Rav4s. My 18 Camry has a small square like switches now. I’m at work so can’t get a measurement at the moment but it looks like this and I have an extra I could send you if it is the same

Yeah, it'll be a bit of work for sure which is why I haven't ripped the dash off yet. Want to get all my pieces in place and some harnesses wired up before I get into it.

I’ve got a blank of this, I was planning on putting an anytime backup camera with front camera on my car like I did my truck but the switches are different on my car so I bought an extra dash with the switch blanks still on it. So I have a couple switch blanks. I don’t get off til late this evening but I’ll get the measurements and let you know.

Coming from a 2nd Gen this dash comes apart so easy and there is so much room to run wires etc.

    A growing list of stuff
You can also take a small switch blank and shave it down to fit the smaller hole. That's what I did on mine.

@Unchained 5150 yeah I believe my blank is just a wee bit to short on one side. 681F32DE-6354-4CA8-AE6F-4E6076B2A2B8.jpgSorry lighting isn’t the greatest in pic but I think you will see how short it is

Gotta ask. Did the cable extension to the armrest pocket function well?
The reason I ask is that I've heard that some people have had issues using some cables with Android Auto. (I know you said you were using Carplay.)

I didn’t need the extension cable. I plugged the lightning cable into it and into the glove box. So nothing changed as far as connectivity

I extended mine into my center console arm rest. I bought a new cable to run from the headunit down near the shifter from aliexpress, then used a usb extension from there into my center console arm rest. See post below for pictures. No issues so far.
