I actually found it in this thread a few pages back, about two weeks ago. It's actually a ford ranger carrier bearing from IEDLS, I called to place my order. I'll back track some and see if i can tag you in the post.

where are you guys getting this cup holder from. Just it just fit on the lip of the shifter console, or are there screws to hold it on.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Not a bad suggestion, and actually, probably my next play. I'm going to take it to our mechanic and have him put it on a lift.

I have them and haven't noticed much difference in my steering. Not overly anyways.

    Interesting.
Might not be that much of a difference, but I definitely did notice decreased turning range.
Before my tire would be almost right on the frame at full lock, and now there's like a 1+ inch gap to the frame at full lock.

I mean you have to extend out the tie rods to get the toe right, so it should make up for any loss in motion.

If you're looking at the back of the frame(rear of the wheel area) when you say that the frame arches inwared(obviously) so is that what you're seeing? the wheel if further forward thus the arch is deeper.

If you mean at the front, well, idk haha

Yea I got it all aligned just fine, but still experience that.

And yea I was talking about the rear of the wheel area, behind the coilover toward the rear of the truck.

that's a good point. I didn't think of that with where the frame starts coming more outboard the further back you go. So makes sense for there to be more room if you put the wheel further forward.

If I understood what you meant that is...

Well I'm not putting my stock arms back on so I'll have to compare steering angle with a buddies truck to see if there is any difference.
Maybe I'm tripping, but it sure seems like I have less.

I don't think you are. Im sure there is a tiny difference. Could just be the "longer wheel base" too since it is now streched out. Or could just be I don't notice it and you do. :notsure:

I had not considered this impact until now. It might be interesting to document just how much the tie rod angle actually changes from a well aligned OEM to Solo. And where the oTREs pivot point is before and after.

I would imagine that if there were to be any bind during flexing situations that it would be the iTRE that takes the brunt of that but those seem to have plenty of range of motion to accommodate this sort of change.

Yea when I compare them against another rig with OEM lowers, I'll take pictures best I can.
But when looking at the tie rods with the solo's you can clearly see they are angled more frontward compared to being more or less in-line with the rack with OEM.

I'm not worried about binding because Solo would have definitely heard about that by now and fixed it.
I haven't run into issues with binding on the trail so far.

It’s been a productive day. Not sure what I’m going to do for the front grab handles (paint doesn’t seem to want to dry) and the seat belts. But the black is coming along nicely! Just have to order some seat covers for the Subaru seats. Starting the door panels tomorrow

Made some progress today. Also got the AC clutch out, of course I ordered the wrong bearing so it’ll be ordered tomorrow. But yeah that bearing is toast
