Anyone had any luck with a “GOOD” iPhone holder that attaches to your windshield with a suction cup?? I’ve bought 2 and they both are garbage!! Include pics if you don’t mind, gotta find something good as my last one almost launched my phone out the window on the freeway!! Lol. Thx everyone. Cheers!!!

Advice from a guy who is half blind. I would never windshield mount, it’s really amazing how much of your view a phone blocks when driving. Even when siting as low as possible. It will literally block an entire vehicle from view. I would keep it below the top of the dash. Just my opinion.

I have the ram A pillar mount, it's by far the best mount I've ever used.

It’s right by the steering wheel and doesn’t block my vision at all.

Does that bounce around or bounce off the dash when you’re on the freeway or is it sturdy enough to not flop around?? Thx a lot!!

Rock steady. The gooseneck is really sturdy. It would hold up a lot more weight than an iPhone.
If you look closely, just behind the swivel, there is a piece of 1/2 “ pipe insulation. That helps to keep a little tension without marring the dash. It takes all of the weight there, instead of letting it bounce around. You just need to work the bends so the gooseneck sits correctly.

Update. Suction cup gave up a week ago. I tried everything to get it to work again. No go.
Trying to find a way to emulate the 3rd gen mount with a bracket attached behind the radio surround.

Have you ever considered the Ram A-pillar mount? I have that one, it's rock solid. I love it.
