Oh, for sure. But the time scale used back when we actually had to be endurance hunters is measured in weeks.

 

At that point I’ll just be a vegetarian.

 

I'm on my second greyhound and I am neither a sprinter nor an endurance runner. If mine wanted to get away from me, she surely could.

Here you go. Fortunately, this hound is really good about being off-leash. She has great recall and won't leave the yard; even when chasing wildlife. She's food-driven so that helps because we just have to use the magic words and she'll come back.

Yes! And I can guarantee those deer took off before the dog did. They know to jet when they see her. I have a few videos of the dog chasing the deer off. And our yearly visiting geese.......

 

OOO! I bet the geese videos are a hoot to watch!

 

And on a related note: I haven't caught a single criminal on my security cameras, but they have been a source of entertainment since we got them. A racoon eating all our bird seed out of the garage, a bear raiding our bird feeder, depictions of the relationship between the dog and my wife, my wife doing ditzy stuff, catching the trash collectors mixing recycling in, and dog vs. wildlife hi-jinks, etc. I highly recommend a few!

 

I think I only have one instance of her chasing the geese divided between three cameras. I'll have to post it when I get home. I don't think it's on my phone anymore. The dog is seven years old and we've had her for four years. The deer and geese are nothing new, but this chasing after them just started this year. We have no clue why. She has no teeth so she can't eat any of them. She's pretty damn proud of herself afterward so maybe it's a game. As long as she comes back it's fine by me.

Already ditched my swaybar, but do some commuting, so if this is an option that'd work, I would be interested. Trying to track down the manufacterer.

 

It’s not a new concept, I’ve seen it done a couple of years ago. I’ve read that they’re very noisy when disconnected, at least the previous design that I’ve seen that uses all thread.

Had a semi productive morning. I sound deadened both passenger doors, this is the only pic I took. I did the majority of it on the outboard most panel and for the inboard panel, I put most of the butyl on the back of it. I didn’t want any interference putting the door panel back on, that’s difficult enough as it is.
