What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I believe it's T4 for the '09 climate control. I'm not a hundred percent sure because I did the '12 climate control swap a few years back and the LEDs are soldered to the circuit board.

 

That's new to me.

I have a 2010 and they're twist in incandescent, one has worked since day one, the other works for a week then either vibrates out or burns out, same with my accessory switch bulbs, going to verify functionality then hotglue them in place.

The '12+ are LEDs soldered directly to the PCB? Might be time to upgrade.

What color do they appear when installed? Do the diodes themselves emit white or red/amber light?

What's involved in the swap or is it plug and play?

Would I need a '12+ radio bezel/clock thing or can I just pop out and pop in the triple selector? Anything need repined ot connectors changed etc?

To anyone with King Coilovers. I have a question. For the coil nut what do you use to adjust it? I know they send out the "KING Rod" but I'd prefer something like Icon and FOX have for their spanner wrench. Has anyone tried one of them and seen if it works or anyone have a suggestion for something else that will work.

 

Took apart and cleaned the throttle body. Butt Dyno was happy. Also took apart and cleaned the carburetor on the generator since it's storm season! Have a great weekend! Hopefully next week I'll get the Slee sliders broken down and resprayed.

 

I've heard of that happening before.. that must be super annoying. I saw guy remedy it by bending the plastic a bit on the KT928 ones. But, the LEDs from SuperBrightLEDs always seem to fit better in my experience.

Having never done any suspension installation before, and watching a few YouTube videos, decided to take half a day off and install my ADS. Not so bad if a dummy like me can do it. Although the castle nut on my spindle definitely isn't 19mm like the videos say. More like 21, is that common?

Installed the @christian06 tailgate anti-theft thingy. I don't think tailgate theft in my area is rampant, but it's cheap insurance.

Aftermarket parts like Moog use a larger than factory Castle nut IIRC.

OEM is definitely 19mm (3/4") though.
