What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Did some trail riding with a Jeep buddy this last weekend. Also picked up my plates last week.

 

If OEM-ness isn't important to you, I've bought two MC Auto Parts faux pro grilles and both have served without incident so far.

 

Same thing happened to me as well. Bar, store, etc. Most of them are jealous because I have racks, lightbar, etc.. Their trucks are mostly stock.

I am not finished with mine which means I am working on adding more to it such as lift, tires, all that stuff that off road drivers use.

Four months ago I installed Clazzio seat covers. I ordered all Naugahyde so they would be more durable. Just noticed they are fraying. I must be dragging across the side entering and exiting the seat. No contact when I am seated. Still, I would have thought they would be more durable. Anyone else experiencing this? I now put my hand there when getting in and out but that is a little annoying.

Today the part comes in and I take my truck back into the dealership. It will take a couple of hours and I did not have a ride at the moment so they did me a shuttle home. A couple of hours later they called it was ready and asked if I needed the shuttle to pick me up. I said yes. They said he will call you. He called, can you please delay your leaving there by 15 minutes, I just put a TV dinner in the Microwave. Sure, no problem he said. It all worked out and I got taken back to the shop and the USB jack now works again. So I can't knock the dealership at all over the moisture issue. They did replace the AC unit entirely and that is all they may be able to do unless directed by Corporate on the issue. They took care of the bad USB jack, I am thinking some pins got smashed upon reassembly.

 

And so the saga of the A/C condensation finally comes to an end!
