You were correct, the cover was the culprit. It was just barely tripped so I couldn’t see it.

I am a dealer of Auxbeam products and I have installed a few of those with my business. I have run into that issue with a few of covers popping the breaker and it’s so hard to tell while the cover is on.

If you go to the Auxbeam site and look at the pictures you should see what you are looking for.

Not entirely sure what you are looking for?
The kit comes with a universal mounting "plate" that the fuse box connects to.

    I built my own plate:

Here's a thread with all the custom or bough truck specific mounting plates:

    Thanks.

Yes I saw the “universal mounting plate.” I just never seen a single 3rd gen Tacoma with one installed. Yours was the one I saw, but I’m not fabbing anything. Hence why I’m asking if there was a company that sells them for this product specifically for the Tacoma.

I’ve read through that thread. I know how to wire, and as far as the mounting plate, I might have missed it between all the BS, but I didn’t see a mounting plate…like the one you made, for sale… pre fabbed for the auxbeam 8 gang, that fits the 3rd gen.

I’m assuming that’s why you made one, because the universal one didn’t fit where you wanted it?

The Circuit Control Box fits on the Control Box Bracket. All of the wires run up from the bottom. There isn't any other room to mount anything else on that bracket.

I know how the wiring works, and i see the control box bracket.

The OP pretty much knows what I’m asking. He made for himself what I’m asking about, but I was trying to see if there was a mounting plate like SDHQ makes for the switch pros or similar to the OPs , but where you can buy it, because I don't feel like doing any metal work.

I take it there isn’t, and that’s cool. My question was never about the actual auxbeam product.

Are you able to dim the lights with this unit? How about make them flash or strobe? Or is this just a basic unit to turn the lights on and off? Very interested and do not want to pay over 500.

Simply turn the lights on and off. Very simple.
If you turn on whichever lights/accessories and hit the red button in the middle, it will turn everything off. Hit it again, and the same ones turn back on. That's the fanciest thing it can do lol

I wish it could do some fancy stuff like sPod or Switchpros.

Switchpro is expensive but worth it in my opinion. I ordered it through Amazon with there CC. And pay monthly payments so it only like $100 a month plus you get amazon points to buy more shit. Vicious cycle lol

I mean I guess it depends on what you want. All I want is to turn stuff on and off and not have a million wires everywhere.

    auxbeam for the win

If I had to make payments on my truck purchases instead of buying them when I can afford them, I'd be $50k in debt
