They are not loud. I had wrangler duratrac ATs before and I don’t notice any increase in sound.

For those who want to do this Mod, there is an easy way to change out the bulbs.

Use a thin trim removal tool and slip it in the side of the light housing. Slip your hand under the bumper and push the housing forward towards the side where you released the clip. It will pop right out (you might have to release the opposite side clip, too, with the trim tool). Change the bulb and pop the housing back in. Knuckles saved!! RIP @Tullie D for this great life hack!!

Yep they have pissed me off. I have the BX90 and front runner mount/latches. Front runner latches suck balls. Had one come apart (held with rivets) on a trip. Cases for less says "pelican will not exchange latches" unless I return the latches AND mount. Not one thing wrong with the mount. Screw them. I'm going to see about filing a claim directly with Pelican but have my doubts about them too.

    Good luck.

Ignore the annoying Ford guy attempting to sell a Ranger, but notice the tape line from body to bed. It flexes quite a bit, which would put all that twisting stress straight on anything bolted from one to the other, so what @Taco2021LB was trying to say, was just be careful.;)

Barely worth mentioning but I am getting started. I tinted the front windows, blacked out the side emblems and deleted the tailgate emblems and coated the frame with Woolswax. Next comes a skid plate, remove the air dam and upgrade the tires to tall skinnies 235/85/16's.

I had heard the same thing. There’s definitely more noticeable glare than before, but I don’t think it’s too harsh. I can still see enough of what’s behind me, and perhaps the brighter reverse lights helps to offset the glare a little.

I’m familiar with that trick and did a little variation of it! Pushed one of the tabs from underneath with a flathead screwdriver and then push it out a little. Then I could do the same for the other tab and it came out fairly easy. Definitely didn’t end up with busted knuckles, which was the goal!

I installed the schosce (idk how to spell) magnetic phone mount. Initially I liked it but I’m not liking how it slips off when driving.

I bought the Apps2Car 6-Magnet. It worked so well, I bought them for 3 of our vehicles. I put the metal pads (on the phone) as low as possible, and use my phone (at times) for taking pictures and videos. I've had no issues with the phone sliding or coming off. After that success, I mounted my Garmin GPS to one of the magnetic mounts, without issue as well.
