I had heard the same thing. There’s definitely more noticeable glare than before, but I don’t think it’s too harsh. I can still see enough of what’s behind me, and perhaps the brighter reverse lights helps to offset the glare a little.

I’m familiar with that trick and did a little variation of it! Pushed one of the tabs from underneath with a flathead screwdriver and then push it out a little. Then I could do the same for the other tab and it came out fairly easy. Definitely didn’t end up with busted knuckles, which was the goal!

I installed the schosce (idk how to spell) magnetic phone mount. Initially I liked it but I’m not liking how it slips off when driving.

I bought the Apps2Car 6-Magnet. It worked so well, I bought them for 3 of our vehicles. I put the metal pads (on the phone) as low as possible, and use my phone (at times) for taking pictures and videos. I've had no issues with the phone sliding or coming off. After that success, I mounted my Garmin GPS to one of the magnetic mounts, without issue as well.

Speaking of a lift, saw an ex-police Ford Police Interceptor (Crown Vic) with a lift and off road tires yesterday. Looked weird.

Nice video! Was wondering how the end caps were supposed to attach...
Also, it really helps seeing what all needs to be cut off under the tailgate.

Have you gotten any appropriately sized square caps that will close the off the tubing on either end?

Canceled my order after I’ve attempted to contact them at least 4 times, after I actually talked to someone and they said they would ship it a week ago. I understand there are issues in supply chains right now. I accept that, but the company needs to be communicating with me.

just about the greatest driveability enhancement you can do on these trucks for all driving conditions on or off road. no cons for use, just the cost of parts and installation. and gets rid of the 'Tacoma rear end jitters'.
