I'm not sure about on rubber, but I've found the sharpie oil based pens to be the best paint marking pens.

Finished installing my sound deadening material on the floor, roof, and back of cab. Then before installing the headliner, I decided it was prime time to install the mirror from the 3rd Gen 4Runner. also installed the URD O2 sensor simulator. Finally, installed my A-pillar gauge pod with TRD boost gauge and PLX AFR gauge. I still need to wire up the PLX gauge, but it is mounted and I have the wires tucked into an easily accessible spot for the future.

I am with you on this. To do what it claims means that it is able to 'crack' the Toyota code in the ECU's. Seems to good to be true. The very definition of a scam.

On the other hand, someone needs to be the victim, er, I mean guinea pig for the 1st gen community.

Got my truck back from the fab shop. Rear Is boxed in new shocks relocated.,u-bolt flip kit and new lowered and larger bump stops .
I'm gonna run some cables and then I'll get it put back together. It's a lot faster without all the weight in the back but the ride was a little stiff. A suto flatbed with my shell on it might be cool to run. I kinda like the way it looks without the bed.

Well got the haltech 2000 Stand alone installed and tuned!
    The rabbit hole :)

This is a huge upgrade for your Supercharger

No more open loop, closed loop to deal with!
    No MAF to deal with!

Power now comes on immediately at 1500rpms

No power surges at 3500rpms or waiting for the open loop to be triggered,

You will get a 10-20 power increase up the ENTIRE power rpm range depending.

Your biggest power will be in the lower rpm range 1500-3500 rpms.
This is a dead zone with the stock ECU for power in this area.
Perfect AFR 12 now on the entire rpm range.
    Much better timing numbers.
Haltech can also control the automatic transmissions shift points and rpms shift points too.
Gabe at http://www.snpspeed.com/index.html can do a remote tune to get the truck running perfectly with full support.
He has to make a custom wire harness per your ECU because of all the difference toyota changes they made.

I highly recommend Gabe SNP work and his kits if you want a perfect fit for your supercharger.

That's clean. I know prices will range but for me to get an idea, how much did all that run you? Also, take care of that front over-fender. o_O

Did you have any issues getting the panels back onto the interior with all the added material?
That's always something I've wondered about when adding all the MLV in particular because it's decently thick

Your fab shop does great work. I've always been impressed with how it's turned out on your truck like on your swingout.

    Thanks guys!
    Will do !

I just put the fenders back on. I'm going to try and heat and bend the liner back a bit.
The shop charged me 1k to do the welding. The Shocks were 1200 .so probably 2500 for everything. Flip kit brace kit ect.

Had to go to a new shop the other one wasn't really doing any side projects right now. But the new welds look good. There just pricey compared to the other place.
I really need to get better at welding so I don't have to keep paying out so much.

the only area that gave me a little bit of a fight was front bolts of the rear seat of the double cab and the back section of the center console. Nothing serious enough to prevent me from being able to bolt everything back together. I didn’t add MLV near the mounting points for the front seats so I had no issues there either. Super happy with how quiet the cab is now. My exhaust is still super loud though I may try to find a way to tone it down some. My fault though, I have DT headers, high flow cats, and an MRBP turn down cat back. Might switch to a side exit tail pipe and see if that helps.

Here's the work involved, if you're interested in doing it yourself. A bunch of us now run essentially this same setup, which I'd say Speedytech7 put on everyone's radar, and then I got ADS to build the first set of 10" shocks for the rear. It's turned out to be a great setup for 1st gen Tacomas.

How-To: Toyota Tacoma Rear Shock Relocation

    upload_2021-8-30_10-57-10.jpg

I think Mike @Digiratus has the prettiest setup, since he has the bypasses and piggybacks.

This is another one of thing that has been on my to-do list. I’ve had the parts for years now, just never had the time.

That is a super nice setup @Digiratus

if you have offset wheels or spacer you can get away with mounting an even longer shock outside of the frame with hoops

I totally sent the fab shop your link on how it's done. Thanks for all your and everyone else's efforts in putting that together.
