    Nice editing!

Good thing you kept the videos unlisted, too, so the whole YouTube community doesn't hear about your puckering

The dealership close by me used to give me the crush washers for free with my old rolla but since I got the taco now they want me to pay for it lol. I change my oil every 7-9000 km, haven’t run into the crush washer being needed to be chiseled off yet lol. I’m pretty happy with the new IFS skid with not having to remove the the whole thing just for an oil change

I know I’m late for this one lol
I would actually argue that cement shows fun-stripes “scratches” pretty easily lol. Quicksand seems to hide them pretty well, but it hides the dirt and mud too much IMO lol @Trdtacosauce :mudding:

A friend of mine tried running his 265/75/16 wildpeaks during the winter to try it out and ended up swapping to his winters just because he noticed a clear difference. Like others have said A/T’s won’t perform as well as a dedicated winter tire. At the moment I’m running 265/75/16 KO2’s (they’re only available in e rating for that size) and will be into the winter season, but will switch over to my Michel X-ICE 265/70/16 when winter starts to really kick in. I really noticed a big difference between the stock Goodyear’s compared to my winters. Interested to see how the KO2 is in the snow, hoping it’s better than how the KO’s I had on my old ranger. I found those to be a little sketchy on the back roads on the way up to Blue Mtn in the snowy/icy conditions.

Yep and the pulling forces required wasn't even that high - they had the snatch block hooked up to the safety chain ear on the hitch receiver.

    Yea I noticed that.

Instead of the 2inch receiver and a recovery point.

Did you drink plenty of BCAAs to supplement your upper body workout?

Then on the next day switch to a lower body workout, like this girl is doing:

See I had ko2 on a work truck before and hated them. Found them to be absolute garbage at everything besides durability to the abuse of construction sites

Always looking to modify! Check out my Instagram @TacoPandaTRD
I have Wildpeaks and absolutely love them! This is my third set on 2 vehicles and been through 4 winters with no issues. 255/65r17 (XL rated) on a RAV4, 265/70r17 (SL rated) on my Tacoma and then 255/80r17 (E rated). I went with Wildpeaks over KO2 and Duratrac because they are said to be better in snow and rain. They just don’t slip! I haven’t owned the other two but I can attest to how well these do and I always tell people these tires are confident inspiring in all conditions! There are a lot of great reviews out there on all these tires and the wildpeaks are highly regarded. I don’t think I’ll ever switch tires lol

The KO2s were made and developed in dry climates of southern USA and thus the "tag name claim" of winning Baja (original KO tires won that race and not the KO2 which are a consumer friendly improvement iirc). Down there in those regions and climates - KO2s are great. Anywhere else like up here in the great white frozen pile of dirt and stone - Canukistan- they are imo a road hazard.

If you wanna learn to drift the truck at every intersection with live traffic around and people walking through cross walk every time it rained or snowed, go for them - they're great for that. It's how i learned :anonymous:

Otherwise ; Coopers, Falcon wildpeaks, or the Duratracs are fairly safe to pick from.

    Experience varies.

I’ve spent thousands upon thousands of KMs on K02s on pipeline work trucks all year long, in all weather, on all road/trail/easement conditions, from Ontario to BC.
Never had issues with the tires themselves - also widely available, even when stuck in remote areas. I’m currently running K02s on my truck now and have zero issues with them.

    That being said, I typically run an actual winter tire in the winter months on my own vehicles. Planning on running General Grabber Arctic on the Tacoma because of this thread;

    yup. experience varies.

You've experienced them on a work truck out on the trails and probably have the rear end loaded up more than an empty Tacoma with a plastic bed which was my case when i've used them.

Good to hear you had a good experience with them but my experience is from driving maybe 40,000km (across 2 winters) on paved roads with about 2,000 of that being off road in the time ive had them

for that 5% a year they get used offroad, they preform great.
for the remaining 95% on asphalt; Lets say 45% of that being the summer months they're completly fine and to me, it's that remaining 50% in the winter/ wet months of early spring as to why i do not like the KO2s.

but again, experience varies and it's up to whoever is considering buying them if it's worth it or not. I know i'm considering the Cooper ST MAXXes or the falcon wild peaks for the next set.
the Coopers were available at Canadian Tire but hard to say on their availability since people quoted me 2-3 month wait (found a guy who got them in a week), so it's a hit or miss if that will continue to be the case after the Pandemic ends and things start to normalize again.
