What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Putting off air hammering the rivets on my hangers have the BAMF sitting in them basement

 

Cut the heads off and they drive right out no biggie. @EatSleepTacos thought of cutting the hangers off flush with the frame which will make the rivets even easier. Wish i'd have thought of that but too old and dumb.

 

That’s what my buddy did as well just a lot of work in the driveway hahah

 

Honestly I dont remember even using an air hammer. I cut the heads off, pried the hangers off, grund the rivets flush with the frame, and then just popped them out with a hammer and punch. Yes it is a bit of work but not awful

 

What he means is spend the time to research and get a nicer bumper. But bragging about your money is good too.

 

Where can I find one of these guys, but smaller?

 

Is it just me or does your bed look like it’s doing something a little sketchy?

 

Tested the Cooper Discoverer Rudded trek at Colliers Mills NJ. Factory wheels and suspension.

 

Bought this one (reason I chose this one because it had the “dot key” chip and same FCC ID for keyless entry as the 05-10 remote) and this programmer.
Programming for the keyless entry is the same as stock, but to program the key (with engine immobilizer chip) you have to use the key programmer I linked.

Are they the 2 front doors and the 2 rear doors the same part number or is each door different? I only see Front Door LH and Rear Door LH listed on their site.
You had to order the handles and the rear covers as well, correct.

I got as a set for all 4 doors, 8 pieces total. Each handle is 2 pieces. All the long handle pieces had the same part number. The little pieces had different part numbers for front doors but the same part number for the rear doors.

 

I really like the cooper discoverer tire brand & had a SUPER hard time deciding between the two when buying my new tires recently but still ended up going with my Toyo open country all terrains which we’re almost the same price, My last tires were the Nitto Terra grapplers that I really did NOT care for to be honest, so many places I’d have to throw my truck in 4x4 with those Nittos that I couldn’t get out of in 2wd but now with my Toyos I’ve gone back and jump right out, really crazy how just a little tiny bit different tread design makes a world of difference! I love my Toyos but next time around I’ll be going with the coopers just out of curiosity!!

 

VERY smart!! I’ll be following suit the next time I change my front diff fluid, I have no idea what would posses Toyota to use that Hex plug? Just a nightmare waiting to happen, I was sooooooo nervous when I did my last drain of my front diff with that thing, thanks for posting this I’ll definitely be getting that new bolt. Thank you!! switched out the pro grille insert with the original one. i do this every so often
