That's exactly what I bought. I probably would have let them install it, but like I said it was a Saturday and they were backed up and I like doing things myself.

Local shop by me. I paid a little more but I'd rather support a local shop than Amazon or something

Bought my Lomax from Luke @ truckalterations.

Warehouse shipped me a F-150 cover in error, but Luke got me a return label in short order and the correct cover shipped immediately.

Ford parts only stunk up my garage a couple of days. Great cover, great price, and great service.

I believe the newer tacos come standard with the trifold covers, at least here on Guam. Y’all replacing these covers or yours didn’t come with one? My 2017 didn’t come with one so I’m looking for one. Was curious to know if your OEM is less superior to after market.
    Thanks!!!

Another vote for the Lomax Hard tri-fold. Just installed a couple weeks ago and it's a real nice, clean installation and I was able to still attach my CaliRaised molle panels and utilize the OEM rail system.

I regret that I didn't make the connection with "GotExhaust" as I'm a nOOb here and hadn't seen a reference in my thread searches on the Lomax. I did try and buy from a lot of other dealers and everybody was on backorder for weeks if not months. I stumbled on RHRSwag, close to the mfg, and they had a long bed in stock, I had it inside of a week for a good price less than retail!

Not standard equipment here in CA USA. The OEM's I have experienced on some 2018 used Tacos I drove, all soft tops and IMO, all grossly lesser in build quality and strength than my Lomax or any of the other top brands.

Ordered from tonneaucoversworld.com a few weeks ago.
good experience. I ordered wrong color. Caught that immediately and emailed them to change order. No issues and pleasant responses from customer service.
3 weeks. LTL carrier delivered and put in my garage.
Installed today. Truck Covers USA retractable. 2AB1799F-AD99-44DA-9B9B-7F268E32EF1E.jpg

I'm looking for a soft roll up tonneau cover for 17 Tacoma. I have stainless side rails so I need something that doesn't overhang much on top of the bed sides. I was looking at one by Tonno that looks like it would fit but keep reading the tracking system in our beds may or may not cause a problem. One source doesn't say that but another does. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Would hate to take the tracking out because I use it for my bikes.

@RLMoody After much deliberation, I went soft top. I could not justify to myself to spend $1k plus for a hard top…I do live in Guam so the shipping/ options to ship is killer limited. OEM on Guam I have seen, ALL faded and looks like sh*t. It appears that majority hard/ soft, water still gets in. My take is the only difference is it’s hard vs soft and the “supposed” security. I won’t feel bad if someone cuts my soft top ($200) vs someone pries, break, dents the aluminum ($1k). Once there is damage, it’s there (eye sore). Took about 4 days from purchase to home. Installation was about 5-10 minutes if that. Uses tracks so you don’t have to remove your track. Of course, this is all my opinions. Not promoting but Tygr T1. See below

To clarify, hard top would be more expensive to ship and a lot of places wouldn’t ship the hard top.

Removal would be 2 screws and the 4 clamps. Obviously Light as hell.
Made my 6 year old roll up/ close the canvas. That easy. There is a canvas tensioner in case the canvas is loose. Tailgate can be opened/closed with soft top closed. Latch is in the inside. Guam is just sun and rain. Other places have hail, snow, etc. this suits my needs but there wasn’t really a need for this. @RLMoody
