Man this was a PITA on a Florida day, not sure if it’s a 2021 thing or a Mexico truck thing,but they didn’t install the rear seat loops.

 

You talking about the anchors you'd use for a car seat? Man that would suck if they removed those, I couldn't do without mine.

maybe, dont h”own a car seat, but they are the loops you grab to pull the seat up to access the storage boxes

I purchased a catalytic converter plate from Talon's Garage and had it installed. I would hope anyone looking to steal mine will move along when they see the plate.

 

Went ahead and ordered the slide, so in theory it'll mount to the backside of that seat and I'll strap it down to the slide.

 

Did the CMC and hammered the pinch weld. Went surprisingly well. I always expect problems when doing projects and didn’t have any, just went to the front of the cab mount hole in anticipation of the 33”s waiting in my garage.

 

Scored these rotopax cans and mounts from OfferUp this morning for $100 total. The cans are unused - apparently used as props for a Nissan Frontier commercial lol

Also have Rago bed mounts coming

 

Did some more Ceramic Coating today. Knocked out the door jams and parts of the rocker panels you can't see when the doors are shut. Also, added another seat protector under my daughter's rear facing car seat. If anyone wants to know if you can fit 2 car seats and a booster seat in the back of a 3rd gen Tacoma, the answer is yes.

 

That is tight.

 

Got some junkyard 63s. Headed to Browns Camp on friday, and brackets come in Tuesday. Should atleast be able to get the shock relocation done after work hours, maybe not the leafs yet though.

 

Bought my Tacoma a Viaair 88P Air compressor, read it was a decent starter compressor. I aired down to 20 PSI to test it out and got back to 32 in about 60 seconds (did not officially time it but it was faster than I expected). Smaller than I thought it would be.

Came with a nice little carry bag where everything seemed to fit PERFECT upon unboxing. Of course, nothing fi back in the same. So I ordered a $10 ammo canister online.

Also Idaho welcomed me today by way of a wind storm mid-install!

 

Removed pinstripes! Also Plastidipped the pinch welds for a cleaner rocker...

 

Did you have to order locking hardware separate?

 

This one seems insignificant, but I love it!
My last glove box was crammed full of all sorts of crap.
It was hopeless to find anything without dumping it all out.
