Took it in for its first maintenance 5k. Exactly 2 months after I brought it home LOL. had a thing about special operating conditions. Pretty sure that means that they are going to tack on an oil change that I have to pay for. Whatever, I guess. Planning on only doing it every 10k after this. probably rotate my tires on my own, since I have the jacks and jack stands to do it.

With toyotacare shouldn’t the 5k service be covered?

Oil change isn't on the Toyota Care coverage at 5k, if I remember correctly. I guess I'll find out later.

Really like this one actually. Did you have to mod anything in order to get the cap pushed onto the bottom of the shifter?

I want to install a light bar behind my grill like that but not sure how to mount it

::Edit:: Clarification... I HAVE a smaller light bar, I just had no way of mounting it. Not buying a new one at this point.

Not quoted here but i have the same shift knob. It's plug and play and the boot collar slides up and locks in place, same as OEM

    No problem bro.

I've been thinking about using those rings. Would be a cheap solution. Just need to measure the knobs so I order the right size. Gotta find a metric tape measure, not sure if I have one or not.
