Is that one foot pressing the brake to the floor while also mashing the accelerator? That MPG is just... impressive

 

Just found the time to install my factory tailgate lock solenoid and wiring. No pics to post but it was a straightforward project. The kit I ordered from Amazon didn’t have any instructions but it has been done so many times and posted about so much it was easy to find instructions.
The only warning I have is if you have large hands and forearms be prepared for scratches. That said it is definitely worth the effort and pretty much anyone can install it.

Just like the TRD intake, a.) mod the air intake with high flow fitting b.) remove charcoal filter c.) add K&N filter d.) swap intake tube with HPS = save ~$100

 

I added the TRD air flow accelerator as well. This helped even more with improving acceleration.

 

Tbh I just took a dremmel to the ole fitting for now before buying the new one. We will see.

Wow, first of all, eat shit. Second of all, there was very specific discussion about what I wanted and the guy assured me he had done this "several times already" so when he was finished I thought it prudent to trust the professional instead of being a dick about it. There was an off chance it all would've fit since I didn't have the crossmember in hand yet. But it turns out I was wrong to trust him, I guess that's on me for being an optimistic person and hiring professionals to do work. And also the leaking weld is just poor workmanship and I just noticed it because a month ago when the temperatures were still hot and dry, there's less condensation. But thanks for your award winning feedback.

All I did with my Tacoma today was drive to work and then come home and try to take the radio bezel off, just so I'm ready when I get my Bulletpoint mounting bar tomorrow. Turns out, it's way easier than I expected, and I scared myself by having it pop off and land in my lap.
