If you live anywhere with deer or any other stupid medium->large animals that like to stand in the middle of the road, a steel bumper is a great investment even without a winch. Sure the insurance will cover it but I value my time and safety, which is why I have a steel bumper on order. It's getting a winch in it but I totally get why people would skip the winch. Really not needed if you're not doing extreme offroading, and even then...I've done some gnarly trails without one. In a lot of ways the winch is overkill.

LED bulbs in halogen housings. It can sort of work but people are lazy.

    Most I see around:
    • Don't fit the sockets properly
    • Aren't clocked or adjusted correctly
    • Housings are severely UV damaged
    • Don't work on all settings or flicker

    Raptor lights.

Usually a bone stock Tacoma with maybe a pro grille and a tailgate pad. Anytime I see these I shake my head and look away

I know there are more pages that I didn’t read and this is probably already stated but I’m going to say mine is when I see the Tacomas with lifted front ends only and it’s obvious that the back hasn’t been lifted.

I got the pro grill… but it was primarily because I cannot stand the chrome grill on a TRD ‘16 or ‘17. Would have been fine with 2018 and up. In hindsight, should have just traded for one of those.

They legally had to due to the width. Same reason the Raptor is required to have them.

Are you sure is the grille lights that are required or is it just fender lights?

I agree the pro grille is overrated- but the off-road grill makes it look like such a dad truck, and there’s a lack of good aftermarket options.

This. I once had a Taco with a massive ARB bumper. I was passing a semi truck that had a tire blow out right as I was next to it. Threw the tread right in front of me, had no where to go, so I slammed into the tread at a cool 70 mph. Not even a scratch on the bumper. They look kinda ridiculous, but man do they work.

I don't really get "annoyed" by any mods people do to their trucks because it's in/on their truck and not mine so whatever.

Anyway, and again this isn't an annoyance because it's not in my truck, and I'm sure I'm in the minority here but I really dont get the facination with those weird looking interior Meso map/dome lights....

I wanted better interior lighting, especially for the dome light but I didn’t like the look of those either. So I came up with my own $12 OEM look 2 LED panel dome light mod.
