Haha I’ve been doing electrical work for 45 years, using butt splices, soldering, crimp lugs screws and bolts, you name it. I’d be far more concerned with wire taps people (and yes me too) have used in their trucks. You have twist ons in your house wiring, you may want to move lol. jk, these twist ons are secure, no amount of vibration in my truck is going to make them unscrew. I’m good, thanks.

 

I don't have the same years under my belt but work as an EE. The amount of corroded, overheated, vibrated apart twist-ons I see in my line of work keeps me wanting more secure ways of doing things. I appreciate the jokes but there is a huge difference between a stable house and the vibrations of a working truck. There's always a better mousetrap!
