There are tunes available now for the 4.0L. A few of my buddies have them. I believe OV Tune makes them. Check out Yota Tune to get more info. They are the ones who tuned my truck

HP Tuners is available for the 4.0, there's a few guys doing tunes. It's a bit of a long read but tons of info.

Nice setup! I'm looking to get the same tires with my 17" SCS F5, but I'm a little worried about my offset (-10).

Thanks! With your 17” F5s being 8.5” wide and -10 offset I’d guess there will be some rubbing which is fine if your okay with some trimming! I haven’t trimmed anything with my set up. I’ve been trying to avoid that for as long as possible.

Nice stance! I like the F5s more when they have something other than the usual 285 K02s on them

    Looks good

I ran a set of 17x8.5 stealth 6s, same specs as your F5s, with 255/80 ST Maxx on my 2nd gen with ~2” lift. Some minor trimming of plastic was needed but nothing major.

Pretty sure this pic is a repost, but erbody likes pics.

I just bought a set of nitto ridge grapplers today. I’m going from a set of 255/80/17 Toyo open country AT3s to nitto ridge grapplers bc the Toyos are out of stock across the US in this size according to my local tire shop. I loved my Toyos but I’m excited about the Nittos. They look more aggressive and seem to do pretty well for a lot of Tacoma owners from what I’ve read

That photo was just the confirmation I needed to go with skinny tires on the SCS wheels. Thanks! Hopefully little trimming as well.

255/85/16 Yokohama Geolandars G003 on the stock 2020 TRD OR wheel. They’re super skinny, not sure if I’ll stick with it or go to 285s yet…

Trying to figure out if I'm going to need a lift or not. looking at going to 255/85r16 when my current tires die. I have 0 offset wheels. probably a stupid simple thing to figure out, but my brain is already fried this week. any ideas?

255/85/16 Yokohama Geolandar G003 MT on stock 2020 TRD off-road wheels. Dobinsons 221 struts with 352 coils up front along with Dobinsons UCAs. Dobinsons 940 rear shock absorbers with 110 leaf pack. Switching to 285/75/16 on Monday, but thought maybe people wanted better pics. Haven’t seen many Geolandars on 255s.
