I have a 2017 TRD pro Tacoma with a Westcott Designs lift in the front (about 1.5 inches) and I have Deaver stage 3 Springs in the rear for all my weight. Does anyone have an idea of what tire size will fit without rubbing in articulation. I understand some trimming might be required. I just don't want to upgrade shocks. I currently have 265/75/16 that are in need of replacement.

2-2.5 inch lift with Bilstein 6112/5160s included in the wheelers trail pro lift kit. And 255/85r16 Yokohama Geolander G003 tires.
I have 255/85r16 on my Tacoma with 2-2.5 inches of lift. Do not rub, except slightly on the pinch weld in the front with high-speed impacts. I have no rubbing on stock trd offroad wheels, but I do have extended bumps. With 275 or 285 you will need wheel spacers on stock trd offroad wheels and below.

I second this emotion. I had 255/80-17 (32.8") on stock FJ Cruiser steelies (17x7.5 ET 15, 4.75" BS) and they were a good fit. Adding 1.25" wheel spacers made them rub tho on stock front cab mounts

Can confirm 285s are okay for light off-road wheeling. Was lightly rubbing plastic that stick out in the wheel well near the cab street driving. Got a proper alignment, no more rubbing. Rubs off-road on certain lines & approach angles, gonna trim plastic this weekend. Hardcore wheeling off-road, 275s is suggested.

Current config: Bilstein 6112/5160's, OME Dakar leaf packs, 285/70/17 BFG Ko2s, SPC UCAs. 3"

That article starts with some misinformation right off the bat. You do not need a lift to fit 33s. You can fit wide 33s with trimming and you can fit skinny 33s with no modifications at all. Otherwise it is a decent read.
