well with a 3" block lift, why do you want to swap to something 2.5? do you plan on taking it to Ardbef in the spring with us?

    Running a 265/70/17 on a 0 offset...might want to move to a 275/70 on the same rim...nothing huge.
I can get away without UCA's as I can drop from 3 to 2.5..fucked up as UCA's are almost the same price as coilovers.

well you're in luck! I can save you a bunch of money (or spend it depending on damages)
you can run all of south trail with a stock truck! Trust me we saw 4 Subie foresters do it!

so you might not need UCAs at all (since all they really are for is to move the tire forward) if you upgrade to 32s.
you can fit 255/80/17s (33s) on a 0 offset rim IIRC without a CMC. you wont have front mudflaps but it might just touch/ rub the paint.

Anyways. with 32s and 33s you'll be banging your pinch weld harder than your ex back in high school. was it necessary? not really, but it really does make a huge difference.

so that really leaves you to finding something fairly cheap for the front. if you're upgrading from the stock Billies, then *anything* will feel better. I have my foxes because @tacoma16 found them dirt cheap on fartbook and i jumped on the deal :notsure:
Seriously that was the deciding factor after 6 months of reasearch. dirt cheap? my new best friend is fox.

The 275/70's would be the next set I get..My Dynapro Mt's have tons of meat left on them. Great tire well mannered on the road and great off road. I will buy another set hands down...so that 265/70 size does fantastic right now for me. I have a set of winters so they will last quite a while.

I beat on them pretty good. There nothing special but available, durable with our winters and the price is good for what it can do.

I run 6112's and they perform really well. You wouldn't need to get springs unless you wanted to change the spring rate. The spring it comes with is 620lbs if I'm not mistaken. It's the same 2.5 like Fox, etc..., and it's almost half the price. Only drawback is once you set the perch height for the spring you can't change it unless you remove the shock or somehow compress the spring on the vehicle.

Do you have any problem with rust or salt corrosion on the 6112's? What do you run on the back? 5160's?

Found some data! CO is the biggest reduction in the second cat. HC (which is the unburnt gas or rotten egg smell) is second in line. This may be noticeable in odour but really have no clue as to what % change would be discernable.
