Hey everyone. I know this has been discussed at least once but I couldn't find any pictures.
    My setup:
    2018 OR DCSB
Southern Style Offroad 2016+ TACOMA SLIMLINE HYBRID FRONT BUMPER
    Badlands Apex 12K winch
Power Trays UNIVERSAL 6-CIRCUIT SWITCH PANEL POWERTRAY
Future plan to ad a second battery

Problem I'm seeing right now is the winch is taller than I expected and might not fit without cutting the hood latch lower mounting bracket which I don't want to do. So I need to figure out where I can mount the control box remotely. There are 4 obvious location choices...
    1) Forward of the battery
    2) Next to the break booster
    3) Passenger side between the airbox and firewall
    4) In the cab

Next to the break booster is out as that is where the power tray is located and in the cab is less than ideal. So that leaves the passenger side or forward of the battery. I know I will be adding a second battery in the future but I haven't decided where I'm going to put that yet. I'm leaning towards locating the 2nd battery on the passenger side but I'm still not sure as I kinda like the idea of side by side batteries.

I'm looking for ideas and pictures of your setups. Is there some place that I haven's thought of yet? TIA

Are you planning to fabricate a mounting solution yourself or buy something "off the shelf"?

The winch came with a relocation tray and some wires. I didn't measure the cables yet but I think they are about 2'

Does the actual winch fit with out the box. I was think of going to the 10k winch smaller foot print

I'm using the eTrailers hidden mount and that "Crossbar" is the only thing in the way. I would just take it out but there are a few clips for the bumper cover on it. It sure would make the install much simpler!

Body armor bumper fits the apex 12k perfectly. Harbor freight 22” light bar is nice too. Some of my winch research seems to indicate it’s made in the same factory with same parts as the China Warn and a number of others.

With the Tandem Off-road control box mount did you have to extend the the wires from the winch to control box?

I did not have to extend any wires with Tandem mount.
