If you folx are looking for a 2.7, there's actually a whole forum here dedicated to the 2.7. You might get more traction there! There's also at least a couple active threads about cat converter protection if you search. Additionally it could be helpful to post in the California regional forum? If I was local to y'all I'd gladly offer up my truck!

 

Thanks, it was custom work from a guy in Tucson, AZ. I'm not sure of his contact info anymore but the stippling is aggressive and it never slips.

 

No issues as of yet, but I also have pretty dark tint and I take the gun with me as I leave my truck. Also, where I work is a secure facility so I have no worries about anyone breaking in and yanking it there.

 

I'm looking for a suitable "water boiler" that is compatible with the 400 watt AC output of the Bed receptical.

A "cuppa" would be nice at times while camping. Suggestions?

 

I got a 300W Mini Portable Coffee Maker Household Office American Drip Coffee Machine off of eBay from China. I'd post a link, but the one I have is dead. Takes a long time to make coffee though. Try Amazon and search "300 watt" coffee maker. I found this one in pink:

On the 2021 Sport with tech package, there are many optional settings and check panels available through that activation process.

Interesting.. What is the DCU?........ " ???? Control Unit?"

There are pages of display options on the 2021. Some were to clear memories, display model and version numbers, etc. I didn't dare touch those! ;-)
There are also diagnostics for the steering wheel stalks and associated controls. The display allowed observation of the switch status in an on/off toggle.
Also the status of the parking brake switch, and reverse selection of the transmission. There could be more,
I didn't want to mess with something I don't know how to fix ;-)

I'm thinking the entire thing may be a diagnostic and set up tool for how the head unit interacts with the vehicle systems.

Maybe that is the real reason I killed the TV.

I call it "The Black Box Theory of Frustration". i.e. Anything encountered, that is not fully understood, Frustrates the hell out of a fella.

Just a comment about remotes 2017 Limited lost one fob, running on 2nd fob, truck would not lock with the second fob. Lucky me, first fob was found between seats.

 

False. With a CCW in CA you can carry your weapon however you like as long as its concealed. SO, you can have it sitting on the front seat as long as nobody else can see it (covered by a shirt etc). You can have it in a panel like this as long as someone can walk up to your truck look in and not see it. Keyword is concealed. Whichever means that is that it's not visible

 

The second fob wouldn't work since the first fob was still in the truck.

 

No one knows how to turn on the camera?

 

Does your Sport have the Advanced Tech Package with Panoramic View Monitor? If not, the only way (without mods) to turn on your backup camera is to put the vechicle in reverse.

 

The window sticker says it has the advanced technology package which costs $800. Not sure if that is what you are talking about.
