Question- does the upper row of MH screws sit flush/recessed or proud of the surface?

I have the larger bug deflector and it’s been doing it’s job at protecting my hood from rock chips. However if you think a couple of chips in the goods bad after a few thousand miles just frigging wait till you see what your bedside’s look like after 80K... my rear fender flares look like they have bad acne and there’s quite a few little dings all around the box sides. I’m on stock wheels, stock width tires and I still have all my OEM mud-flaps surprisingly, it’s about 50/50 on road vs off road miles though. I couldn’t imagine what the truck would look like with a wider stance.

The fit was almost perfect. It uses 3M auto grade doublesided tape, so you just expose small areas or tape, position it, then pull your tape tabs and apply pressure to help the bond. AVS includes a prep solution to use first, guessing it eats wax and surface contaminents that might keep it from sticking. Fairly simple install maybe a 2 out of 10 in difficulty (for me). 1/10 if you are mechanically inclined.
I really do like the low profile. Honestly, It's more for looks but i'm hoping it may save a few nicks and chips on the hood.

edit.. where it meets the rubber seal, it seemed to fit great.

It would look like shit. And that is very surprising you have all the kicked up with stock wheels, tires and flaps. I can honestly say I drive through water, mud etc and have the same setup as you and it doesn't kick up on the sides at all

Rearranged the garage a bit in preparation for the Lunar. Now the truck and the wife’s Outback will fit with plenty of room to get the kid in and out

I'm sure it can go over a bit but I'm waiting for the Outback to get home. It'll come forward a bit too so I can still get at my workbench

I thought the same. Looks like only a few inches to get out, and stuff on the wall.

Stuff may move or spread out a bit. Now that I’m thinking about it though I may take the other side as Lindsay (wife) usually pulls straight in.

FWIW I back in passenger side to the wall so the wife can pull in forward. Both driver doors open to the center to give us more room.

Only concern is the door would be behind my taco. Need to make sure there is enough room.

I did grab some SS3 Sports in yellow during Diode Dynamics Black Friday special. Also picked up all the LED interior replacement bulbs. Those with the sports, they’re brighter than OEM?

Awesome thanks. I rarely see fog and the same goes for snow so I didn't need the brightest but something a little more than OEM will make me happy. Also with a 5 month old in the house I doubt I'll be doing any night time wheeling or much camping any time soon haha
