After a lot of testing and tinkering, I finally nailed these down and feel they are ready for prime time. Please read all the details here, and you can sign up below if you are interested (see 2nd post).

These harnesses allow for a fully plug & play conversion to allow the SR and SR5 trims to use the OEM LED headlights. At the heart of it is a controller made by VLED (included) for switchbacks where the turn signal and DRL are a shared circuit. These will require a resistor as well (included). Please refer to VLED for mounting warning, as resistors can get pretty hot. You will want to mount them to a clean metal surface, and keep it away from wiring and hoses. I will post pictures of a good spot soon when I do an install post below.

    Capture.jpg

Batch 4 on hold for a few. I will still sign up "interested", but not guaranteeing any product yet, and the price is going to change I think. That price includes the VLED hardware. Instructions for payment will be sent via PM. I prefer Paypal, but can do Venmo or Zelle as well. If you need another option, let me know and I will see what we can work out.

Here is just the harness without the additional hardware.

And here it is with the VLED hardware added.

Please see the note regarding the issue with the controllers. Post #91 in this thread.

Ok, I think for the distribution of these, I will just start a sign up list and send PMs when a batch is ready. So if you respond here that you are interested, I will add your name to the list. When I construct a batch, I will send the first group of people a PM with payment instructions. I give it a few days (usually 4) for people to respond, than I ship them out and send everyone their corresponding tracking number. The batches will probably be pretty small as each pair requires close to $70 in VLED hardware, and I am not sure about demand, so I don’t want to sit on a whole bunch of inventory (I’m just a guy who makes this stuff as a hobby, until I get bored, then @daveeasa will be the one making them :D).

If you are on this first batch and are no longer interested, please let me know. Space is pretty limited. Thank you!

    Ok, time to install these!

Here is what you will receive:
    00.jpg
    A - the harnesses
B - Caps for the parking light connections that won't be hooked up anymore.
    C - The HDRL controllers
    D - The resistors

So first thing to do here is assemble the whole harness. These only go in one way (unless you get really creative I suppose). The controller connects to male and female connections and they each have a nut to lock it in place. The resistors will just push in the connector. That's it.
    01.jpg 02.jpg

Now to install this assembly in the truck. You will notice that each harness is marked DRIVER and PSNGR. This is so the colors match during the install. They will work just fine on opposite sides, but the colors won't match.
    03.jpg
So now that you have determined which side goes where, you can take the old turn signal/DRL bulb connector off of the the grey connector
    Before:
    IMG_9510.jpg
    After:
    IMG_9511.jpg
Now that that is out of the way, go ahead and hook up the new harness connection here. It will only go in one way.
    IMG_9512.jpg
Now for the headlight connections. This is where the color coding comes in. These harnesses are also marked HIGH and LOW.
    IMG_9529.jpg
The truck side will be GREEN for LOW beam
    low.jpg
    And YELLOW for HIGH beam
    high.jpg
On the harness side, the LOW only have one wire. So make sure the one wire matches the color on the truck side.
    IMG_9516.jpg
    IMG_9519.jpg
And then on the HIGH side, each one has one wire which is WHITE w/BLACK STRIPE, and the other wire is either WHITE or YELLOW. So be sure to double check the color alignment here. This is important.
    IMG_9521.jpg
    IMG_9515.jpg
With those hooked up, and the last connection on the sidemarker light capped, you can now take the last connector on the other side of the harness and plug it into the headlight itself (sorry, I don't have LED headlights, so I couldn't get a picture of that)

Finally, you just need to mount the resistors. Make sure these are mounted to a flat metal surface, and free from things (wires, hoses, anything) touching them. They get hot. So I would recommend an inch or better of clearance all the way around. Here is where I mounted mine:
    Drivers side, by the battery
    driv_res.jpg
And the passengers side (a little harder to see) Next to the grounding point, behind the washer reservoir
    pass_res.jpg

That's it! Now your new OEM LED headlights should function just like they would if they came on the truck.

Oh, and I am hoping @Gtboosted will chime in with his experience. With out his patience (and bravery), I might still be wondering if these will in fact work

Done. If the list holds as it is, this will account for the first batch. There will be more coming, so please let me know and sign up for batch 2. Thank you everyone, hoping these won’t be too long.

Ok everyone, these will be ready by Sunday. I got the VLED parts in, but didn’t realize that I was short on Molex terminals. So I got those in last night. Thanks again for the patience, I hear the OEM LED headlights are worth it :)

Is there a preferred mechanism for queuing for the next batch? PM, signup?

    Thanks!

Here works. I will add you to the list. I should be sending notifications really soon (tomorrow at the latest I think) to those who are on the list that I can cover. If anyone changes their mind or doesn’t reply by the time I go to ship them (usually Saturdays), I will go to the next person in line until the batch is gone. If you didn’t make that round, then you are already in line for the next round.
