Ordered some stuff to do my own oil changes. Just finished researching and surprisingly discovered that all three of my Toyota’s use the same oil filters, filter wrench and crush washer. Two even use the same oil.7BEAB955-926F-4904-8E3D-AC426B8D3706.jpgC4F4612B-68A8-4092-8CCF-3CDB7789A301.jpg

Yeah I feel like the center section, with the band of thinner cutouts, breaks it up a bit. Don't know how to describe it really...just more appealing to the eye. At least for me it is.

Cool- I was surprised that my 2010 & 2015 RAV4 (both 4 cyl) use’s the same stuff as my 6 cyl Tacoma. Guess I had just never bothered looking at it all at one time. Definitely makes changing my own oil more worthwhile.

    FINALLY THE CLUNK IS GONE!

Installed a sway bar relocation kit. The provided instructions weren’t quite right but it buffed out. I changed the sway bar bushings too with a OEM replacement set.
Done without lifting the truck or dropping the skid plate. I also noticed the inside of the sway bar had gouges from hitting the coil, whoopsies

Loaded up the family and took the trip into Manhattan to see the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Got lucky and got a parking spot at a meter (no meter on the holidays). Kids had a great time. Was their first time there. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Got one of those ECT always on modules from @funman1steve on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/123768419718. I just had to have one so I wouldn't have to press the ECT button each time I cranked the truck. Go figure. I was warned about TW and addiction and spending money. Happy Thanksgiving, TW members!

Thanks for sharing the pics. What are the odds of free parking for an event in the city? :D

Have seen quite a few people purchasing a NOCO Boost for their vehicles lately. Is there a particular model that works best with our trucks? Is it based on accessories or just a personal preference thing? Not familiar with these but from the looks of things they are nice to have.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Although the Noco website states that even the GB20 will start the V6 Tacoma I would not go lower than the GB40. I was going to get the GB50 but found the GB70 for $159 during last years Black Friday sales. Never had to use it on Taco but have used it a few times on other vehicles.

Do it when the kid(s) are old enough to appreciate it. Mine are 11 and 8 and they had a blast today. Be warned though, it’s a LONG day. Got there at 6:30 am for a 9 am start. A lot of standing around doing nothing. Still a great time.

When the meters are not in effect, there’s plenty of parking. Just gotta find it. But I figured a parking ticket would probably be the same price for putting the Taco in a garage.
