Go check the Harbor Freight boxes. I out grew my Snap On box. When I started shopping I comparing prices I decided to go with a Harbor Freight and it’s been 5 years now and I haven’t been disappointed yet. I sold my Snap On and bought the top and bottom 26” and later a side cabinet. Now I have just about outgrown it.

Seconded. The General boxes are known as being one of the better options in the market.

On SlickDeals I'm reading HF stopped their 20% off. Is this true? If so, I guess no deals on U.S. Generals tool carts.

HF has basically cancelled all of their coupons with limited exception to force you into their "pay to play" Inside Track Club

Edit: US General stuff was excluded from their coupons anyway so it doesnt really matter on those.

I bought one for $999.99 about 15 months ago, I want to add a second one because I love it so much, but having trouble paying $1.5k when I got such a good deal the first time. On the other hand it has definitely been worth 1.5k to me so probably going to have to bite the inflation bullet on this one.

I think I bought mine about the same time. It was normally $1299 and they would put it on sale every six months or so when they were still mailing out the flyers.

I have that same box - only in red.

I moved the contents of a smaller Craftsman box to this one, thinking I would have so much more room. Yeah, except for the fact that I so much stuff packed (unorganized) in the old box, by the time I laid everything out nice and organized in this one, I ran out of room. :(

So, I bought a side drawer unit to hang on the side.

In essence, I doubled my storage capacity, and filled it.

But hey, at least now I can find the tool I want!

I did pretty much the same thing, haha. I have this one in blue and ended up getting the top chest to go with it so now I have a little room to expand. If I get some good organization stuff like @Usethe2nd has I think it will free up a lot of space though.

The organization is great. I found tools I didn't remember I had. Not quite sure what that says......

So far i love it, seems like the best route for me given the amount of sockets i have(and expanding).

im also about to drop $$$ on a new side box for my Macsimizer.

    Is that the 44"?

I wanted to buy one this year but they went up $100 in price.

I was wondering if you can fit pliers on their edge in those middle 10 drawers (slimmest).

Most normal sized pliers will fit on edge in those drawers. Even my 10" knipex cobra pliers fit that way.
