Yeah, they will at least hold you over until you can afford bypasses, but they look a bit rough.

Not without relocating shock mounts. Likely with a bed cage of some sort.

What’s your take on tundra rack vs 200 rack? I keep going back and forth

I've never had any experience w either of them. So I'm not the best person to ask. There have been FJ and a few 4th gen 4Runner owners install the 200, which Im doing in my 4th gen. Im still learning about all this, but from what I've read the Tundra rack needs extensive mods to make it work. This thread by @m00seNUckLEz has more info

@Dalandser probably knows more valuable info as well.

Yah same here. been seeing the lc 200 more recently. I was looking at the basiker modified tundra rack and JD slide rack bit the LC 200 has been coming up a lot and may be the better play.

Right now it’s a bypassed mid travel setup but have a TC bypassed +2 kit going on soon. Running 35’s now but also debate on going 37’s in the future.

Good question. Im installing a DK +3.5, so Im hoping that the length and geometry works out w the 200.

IDK these options are really not necessary unless you're already blowing through racks - do you have even the JD slider?

I mean a literal race truck runs the Tundra rack. I guess I don't know why people aren't using it - that said I don't know why people are needing anything other than maybe a rack slider if they're not driving hard (read - if you're not already requiring a cage with the driving you're intending on at this point).

That said, if it's a "just in-case" kind of debate I get it, but I've seen many trucks get beat to hell with the Tundra rack. I think the 200 rack is something that obviously works if you're buying parts it's designed to work with as a decent setup.

I'd see what the least invasive mod would be and how it performs on my truck - ie the JD slider - if it were my money. I get the "while we're in there" idea. That said it's cool to have a running, driving truck to demo and see what each current part upgrade can do.
