    All 110 pages, that's impressive!

Yes, the caps do get warm like anything in the direct sun and yes the heat will dissipate. Cracking the sliding windows also helps significantly. The Evo Sport is the cap with the side windows and the entire side window gullwings up and out. In addition, there is a small slider window built into the window for air ventilation or letting a dog stick its head out for example. The caps either come with the windows or with the solid side panels (this is the Adventure model), but are not offered with one of each. Not sure if anyone has swapped sides with someone else to achieve one of each.

I'll let someone else chime in on replacement decals.

If there's anything we can do, shoot us a PM, call us at 888-466-8991 or check us out online at OFFROADALLIANCE.COM. Happy holidays!

hah, not a camping lot. Just early birds, I was parked a few vehicles down.

They were preventing frozen locks so they could get there gear back in, I had to bang on my to get them to pop open when I left.

Rubber covers arrived today from AK, installed them as soon as I got back from the mountain.

I am working on trading another TW member passenger side doors and will post how the process goes if/when it happens. I have the solid EvoA but would like a little more air flow for my two pups. The security/privacy of the solid panels is nice, but want to keep the dogs comfortable on road trips. Keeping my driver side panel since I have the RSI cubby, and assume it would result in broken glass when the contents bang around.

The windows are super nice for the dogs or if you are sleeping in the cap for extra airflow. We have 3 so I can't imagine not having them during travel and while sleeping..

If that falls through let me know, I've been looking to trade EvoSport doors for EvoA doors.

Thanks, looking forward to your update. Will probably pull the trigger on buying a Sport for myself and an Adventure for my friend before the New Year. That way we'll have the option of trading doors later down the line.

I think I read that the doors on the long bed cap are the same size as the short bed cap, is that correct?

I like what I’m seeing with this cap, but I need one where the rear electrically locks/unlocks with the doors and tailgate.

    Hey peeps,

I have a water leak coming from the bottom of the driver side window. I filed a warranty claim and was told it needs black sealant applied.

Does any one know what kind of sealant I need to use. I asked Lionel with RSI but have not received a response.

@Mike’s Custom Toys is my dealer but they are over 10 hours away so I need to take care of this myself.

Here is the response from RSI…

I suspect the issue is lying with the sliding window seal which does not have a tight enough tolerance between it and the channel that it is sitting in. To fix the sliding window would need to be removed and a bead of black sealer needs to be applied to the seal channel before refitting the seal. A how-to for both window removal and sealer application has been attached below.

If you would kindly return to your selling dealer and have them take care of this for you this would be greatly appreciated. Alternative, if this is something you would feel confidant tackling, We would very much appreciate it as well.

Please let me know on this and we can work from there should you rather prefer your dealer handle this for you.
    ---
    Kind Regards
    Lionel

Sorry to hear you are having a leak on your cap. Any polyurethane sealant will do the trick, they basically are suggesting spacing the seal out a little to make better contact. Give the shop a call and please forward me the correspondence as well. Mike@mikescustomtoys.com
Never hesitate to reach out to me for help. That goes for anything we sell.

The Front Runner load bars fit the Smart Cap. Is it the 1345mm size that fits?
    Thanks for any help.

So RSI calls out for RTV to be used. Do you think you could post up their how to...? I have had a lot of back and forth with RSI in the last 15 months of ownership, mainly the issue is the quality of the sealing that was done at the factory has been very subpar. But no one mentioned a how-to guide from RSI. BTW even after sealing the hell out of mine with RTV and the new thicker gaskets I still have this issue. I dunno, maybe I didn't use enough or did it wrong.

What does RSI say to do with the black sealant precisely?
