What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I had that from the factory in my 2016 Sport. That was fine in that truck but I don't see a need in my older Tacomas. I didn't have a console organizer so I made one for around $3 with a dollartree tray as a base with some aluminum angle. Worked fine and used it for 5 years. I need to do that for my 2nd gens. Just had to cut a slot up front for my phone charger cable.

Got rid of the ebay special headlights and fogs. It started raining so I'll finish it later on. Thanks to @memario1214 for the SS3 fogs.

 

1. Shifter light bulb was burnt out. Replaced with LED and it looks much better.
2. Replaced stock climate control knobs with ones that light up
3. Ordered LED replacement bulbs for the climate control lights. The amber ones are just too dim

 

went with clear OEM style headlights with 6000k led bulbs, had black projector headlights before with halogen bulbs but they didn’t last very long and added retro trd stripes on the grill

 

I don't know on your Tacoma. Your wife's 4Runner won't easily accept the Tundra booster and MC.

 

No pics, but I’m halfway to having CC on my base model. I got the switches installed and found mine wasn’t pre wired for the clutch cancel, so now I’m just waiting for some harnesses to show up…

Sprayed Silicone on access cab rubber door gaskets. Stops the noise when cold as the body flexes. An annual task. Once a winter generally works.

Took advantage of the lights to do some water tank cleaning with the pressure washer and also cleaned up the engine compartment. Spotted a new spare for the old dried out tire.

 

Looking over EWD's adapting this harness to fit my truck (truck is a 2012, harness is a 2014).
Taking a break from time to time and wiring my Bussmann RFRM, 50% done with that.
Also in the process of labeling each connector so I can print it out so I don't have to keep getting up and checking the computer

 

What spray are you using?

 

I use 303 on mine. Just spray it on a rag and wipe them down. I do it 2 or 3 times a year.

 

Just got my oil changed and new filter. Lookd like something was living in there with all the debris that was there. First oil change since I got it. Seems to breathe better with the new air filter.

 

Your new cooler is a straight pass through with no temp control valve or whatever its called? What model cooler did you install?
