Tire Size with Leveling

Gonna add 2” to the front and 1.5” to the rear of my 2019 TRD. What is the largest tire I can put on with 16” wheels?

 

If you trim the fenders and stack enough spacers you are only limited by your imagination.

A friend told me he read a response where someone raised a 3rd gen 2” up front and 1.5 in the rear and fit 285 75 16. Minor modification inside the fender well.

FWIW You could do 255/85/16 or 265/75/16 Tire on a 16x8 wheel 0 offset or whatever else works. You’ll be dialed off-roading and every day driving. Flex out no rub and keep weight down as well

 

I have about the same lift height as you. I run 265/75R16 KO2s on 16x8 -12 wheels with no rubbing. You may be able to fit a 275. A 285 would be sketchy

 

265/75r16 with 2" lift in front. Nothing in the rear.

265s for the win. No issues, no loss of power, no decrease in mpg, no trimming, able to run factory mud guards, no re-gear, no trimming, no cutting the fenders, no recalibration, no cab chop mounts needing cutting, no hammering the pinch welds, no excessive wear on suspension and brakes. Its just a win win for a perfectly fit tire or do all that for an inch more. Hell I just talked myself out of 285s again! As much as I want the 285s and they look great I'm sticking with 265s and its a great size for a 2/1 lift.

265 75?

 

265/75/16 is the most common, without issues. And they look great!
255/85/16 is the biggest that will fit without cutting.

 

It came stock with 265 70 r16s. I think I can increase a bit after the 2” lift.

 

Lift doesn’t let you run a bigger tire. Wheel placement does (particularly when you are talking about a bigger and WIDER tire). This is why you can run a 255/85/16 and not rub when flexing while you likely will with a 285/75/16. If you don’t want to change your UCAs or do a CMC, run 255 or 265s. You can do the 265/75/16 and get an extra .5” of axle clearance vs stock or do the 255s and get a bit over an inch of added clearance.

Orrrrr… full send and get out the hammer and knife for 285s and wider .
